Cameron Kinghorn is a trumpeter, vocalist and educator based out of the Twin Cities. He recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Minnesota where he studied with Dr. David Baldwin. Cameron plays and sings with a variety of groups at numerous venues and events throughout the Twin Cities. He currently plays and sings most regularly in the alternative jazz group Sound Color Theory, the trad jazz group The Jazzland Wonderband, and is the lead singer of the Funk/Soul band The Tasty Tones. Cameron is also a member of the Adam Meckler Orchestra, a modern jazz big band that features some of the most talented young jazz musicians in the Twin Cities. He has also shared the stage with Jonny James and the Hall of Fames, Chris Koza and Rogue Valley, Sims of Doomtree, Caroline Smith, and Gabriel Douglas.
