Take it to the limit!!! When pushed to the limit it glitches out into octaves up, down, and insanity.
Has 2 really nasty fuzzes, one straight forward and powerful as heck - the other pushing and pulling with every chord.
CV/Expression in - slam the filter up and down in sync with an arpeggiating synth or control it with an expression pedal.
Sounds amazing with synth and guitar.
The funk is in the gunk. The Hooligan is the Tour Series version of the WTF Fuzz but with some tonal tweaks and made to be simple in every way. We wanted this pedal to really inspire players, which can be hard to do with a fuzz pedal. The Hooligan blooms and feeds back, creating all sorts of textures. You can go from a very smooth, Rat type overdrive to the famous Trombetta horn sounds. We feel like we have dialed in the perfect warmth versus the typical, strident sound of a fuzz pedal. The Hooligan is very musical and fun to play!
Calhooooooooun! Here boy!
The Calhoun V2 is a collaborative signature pedal for legendary guitarist, writer, and producer Mike Campbell. Mike is most known for his role in Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, but he has worked closely with such artists as Don Henley, Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, George Harrison, Jackson Browne, Brian Setzer, Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac and The Wallflowers to name a few. He also is a founding member of Mudcrutch and has a side project called the Dirty Knobs. When the opportunity to create his only signature pedal came to us, we were honored, to say the least.
The Jupiter is a true bypass fuzz pedal inspired by the desire for gritty, thick and loud fuzz. Fuzz pedals tend to emphasize specific frequency ranges, which is both a positive and negative attribute. The Jupiter’s controls allow you the ability to dial in the right amount of fuzz with the right tonal quality to either stand out in the mix, or ride it out with the drums and rhythm. It includes a Mode switch that changes between three different clipping diode arrangements, providing more options and combinations of fuzz and tone and a Bass boost toggle switch for increased low end.
Boost. Drive. Fuzz. Not neccessarily in that order.
Designed in collaboration with Resonant Electronic™, Brothers™ is built upon two independent JFET / IC analog channels comprising a total of six unique boost, drive, or fuzz circuits in one small enclosure. The pedal can be routed in thirty-three distinct ways, including mixing them in parallel or changing the order of the effects. As with every Chase Bliss pedal, you can save everything and recall presets instantly, on-the-fly either on the pedal or with MIDI. Every knob and switch is connected to a little digital brain while your guitar signal stays 100% analog the entire time and never gets digitally processed.
