- About:
Hi. I've been playing guitar for 18 years, teaching professionally for 6. I have played a wide variety of genres, from gypsy jazz to thrash metal. My strengths as a teacher lie in my ability to teach the fundamentals of guitar and music theory to younger students (as young as 6), as well as my ability to customize lesson plans to accommodate older student's tastes. I also play bass for those adventurous souls drawn to the lower end of the music spectrum.

- About:
Hi, my name is Heather, I'm 25 years old. I have been playing and performing music my whole life. I just graduated from ARCC with an AFA degree in music-guitar performance. I also have a background in piano and vocal performance. I plan to continue my education in music until I have earned at least a masters degree and can teach at a college level. The genre I specialize in is classical guitar, but can teach any style the student wants. After the student has mastered the basic fundamentals of reading and understanding music we can then move into the musical style they choose. I teach all ages and all ability levels. No one is ever too old or too experienced to learn something new.

- About:
Hi. I'm Jeremy Ylvisaker. I've been playing guitar for 25 years. Some artists whose recordings I've been a part of recently include Andrew Bird, Eyedea & Abilities, Why?, Dosh, Fog, and Hockey Night making a variety of sounds from fingerstyle guitar, to feedback, pedal steel, bass, keyboards, found sounds, and in some cases engineering and producing. I've been nominated for Minnesota music awards as a guitar player and as a keyboard player and I've appeared on the David Letterman show and the Conan O'Brien show. As a teacher I am a good match for people who want to learn their favorite rock songs, people who write music and want to add new chords and voicings to what they already do, and players of all levels who are looking for ideas.
